Useful For
Use: The presence of IgG Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide
Antibodies, when considered in conjunction with other laboratories
and clinical findings, is an aid in the diagnosis of Rheumatoid
Arthritis.
Not all RA patients are positive for anti-CCP. Results of this assay should be used in
conjunction with clinical finding and other serological tests. The
diagnostic value of anti-CCP in Juvenile
Rheumatoid Arthritis patients has not been determined.

Minimum volume is 0.5 ml
Specimen Stability Information
- Centrifuge collection tube within two hours of draw.
- Store samples at room temperature no longer than 8 hours.
- If assay will not be completed within 8 hours, refrigerate the sample at 2°-8°C.
- Freeze if testing delayed >48 hours.
