Additional Information

This screening is designed to detect Morphine and Codeine in urine.  See Additional Information section (above) if interested in hydrocodone (e.g., Vicodin), oxycodone (e.g., OxyContin, Percocet), hydromorphone (e.g., Dilaudid) and oxymorphone.

Notes: This assay is a screening test primarily for opiates (Morphine and Codeine) and, to a much lesser degree, opioids, such as hydrocodone, oxycodone, hydromorphone, etc.  The GC/MS confirmation for opiates is selective for Morphine and Codeine. 

If opioid substances are of interest, Opioids, Quantitative should be run.
