Bone marrow:  Bone marrow film - prepared in usual fashion
Urine:  A complete morning urine sample is the preferred specimen in a Sterile Collection Cup
Bronchial Alveolar Lavage:  Specimen collected by physician in a Plain Red top tube or Sterile Collection Cup

Additional Information

Iron or Hemosiderin Stain is a method used to detect iron or hemosiderin in bone marrow, urine or bronchial
alveolar lavage.  Assists in diagnosis of iron deficiency and hemosiderosis/hemochromatosis.
