Additional Information

Methotrexate is an antineoplastic drug used solely or in combination with other antineoplastic drugs for the treatment of leukemia and other diseases.  Methotrexate has been proven useful in the management of acute lymphoblastic leukemia in children, choriocarcinoma and related trophoblastic tumors in women, carcinomas of the breast, tongue, pharynx, testes, lung and osteogenic sarcoma.  Low doses are used in non-malignant
disorders such as severe psoriasis, asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, sarcoidosis and transplantation therapy.
