Urine chloride is increased in increased salt intake, massive diuresis, postmenstrual diureses, salt-losing nephritis, potassium depletion or adrenocortical insufficiency.  It is decreased in reduced salt intake, water retention, excessive fluid loss, salt retention or adrenocortical hyperfunction.
