Yellow (Gold) top tube (SST) Plasma samples not recommended.

Required Volume: 0.5 mL

Tubes of blood are to be kept in a vertical position at all
times. Centrifuge collection tube and separate within 2 hours
of draw.

Test is run Monday through Friday, A.M. shift

C3	81.1 – 157.0 mg/dL	79 – 152 mg/dL

***Pediatric ranges have not been established.

Serum samples should be at room temperature no longer than 6 hours, or refrigerate at 2°-8° no longer than 24 hours prior to analysis.
If testing delayed >24 hours specimen should be frozen.
