Useful For

Evaluating patients suspected of having celiac disease, including patients with compatible symptoms, patients with atypical symptoms, and individuals at increased risk (family history, previous diagnosis with associated disease, positivity for HLA-DQ2 and/or DQ8)

Specimen Minimum Volume:

2 ml

Specimen Stability Information

  • Centrifuge collection tube within two hours of draw.
  • Store samples at room temperature no longer than 8 hours.
  • If assay will not be completed within 8 hours, refrigerate the sample at 2°-8°C.
  • Freeze if testing delayed >2 weeks.

  • Hemolysis/Hemolyzed
  • Lipemia
  • Plasma specimens
