Test Code LAB1230035 Tissue/Bone Culture

Useful For

Use: Isolate and identify Aerobic & Anaerobic bacterial pathogens.

NOTE: Routine tissue culture methods are designed to detect and isolate organisms capable of growth under standard laboratory culture conditions. If testing for viable but non-culturable (VBNC) organisms is requested, this assay is not appropriate as such organisms cannot be reliably recovered or detected using routine culture-based methods. Alternative molecular or specialized detection methods should be considered.
